New Image Salon in Astoria opens at 8 (I'm pretty sure)...they do hair and makeup though I never used them for makeup services.

Maybe you can talk to you regular hair person and see if they can open a little earlier for you that day

clear skin in west hempstead opens at 9am. we used them on saturday for my wedding and they did a great job.

If you have time - stop in Christies in Bay Terrace - the makeup stylist name is Lisa. She has done a great job on both me and my moms trials. She may be able to work with you and your timing.

if u go to the MAC counter at queens center mall, ask for cynthia! she's doing my make-up the day of the wedding. she works friday-sunday... for hair... go to new image in astoria. they're open before 10am...

Hi Barbara, not sure if you remember me, i met you out at Bourbon with your FH and Lesley and the crew. I am finally on here, as you can see and not 'lurking' as you put it that night. lol
Anywho...Lisa was as sweet as can be when both my mother and I went for our trials. We loved the outcome and had no issues ::knock on wood:: I guess everyone has different experiences with different stylists. But all was good for me and my mother and the convenience and price was really great for what Im looking to do. My wedding is this saturday and shes doing our makeup. So we will see how it goes.
