Makeup Person Help
Hello. I went for a trial I didn't love and rather keep looking. (I heard such great things about my original person I never though that I wouldn't like it.)Thing is I'm a month away. I called a bunch of the ones that are popular on this board and they are all booked. I tried J. Nicole and I Make You Up and FairyTale Makeovers.
I need someone who will come to my family's house in Queens (Ozone Park/Howard Beach).
Any suggestions who to call?

I've heard good things about Kristen from Enchante on the site, I think she's a bit pricey now that she's gotten some good reviews, but might be worth the look.Good luck!

Re: Makeup Person Help
You should try my make up person - Wendy Urban - don't have her # on me but you can do a search - I posted about her not too long ago.She charges $100 for the bride's make up and will travel to your home. I don't wear a lot of make up and I looked very natural when I met with her for the trial.

Try Gorgeous Faces by Jillian (also on this site) I used her and she does a great job. She came to my house in Queens on my wedding day and will even come to you for the trial if you want.

Re: Makeup Person Help
Bridetobe-I was on the EXACT same position as you. The person I thought I was going to use (that everyone raves about on this board) I didnt like how she did my makeup at all. I spent alot on the trial and she didnt give me much of her time. I went to the makeup counters at Macys and ended up using a girl from the Chanel counter. She is from Smithhaven Mall. Her name is Melanie. I loved the results. If you want the info, let me know.

Cindy-do you think she will travel to Queens? If so, yes pass it on.Do the people at these counters often come to your home? I was thinking of trying a MAC counter if they do that.
I am debating whether to just do my make up myself at this point! But everyone says you don't want to be bothered with that on your wedding day.
