I had a trial two days ago and I hated the foundation. It looked like I had a tan (I don't tan at all) and all these wrinkles around my eyes just popped out! Since I getting married in a matter of weeks, I feel that I'm stuck. I will say that this vendor is highly recommended and has some very, very nice qualities. Should I get a second trial? I called a bunch of make-up artists earlier in the week so I can compare but no one has gotten back to me yet! Help!
Maybe you can just tell her what you didn't like about it. I am sure she is a professional and won't feel bad- maybe she can do it differently.
If you are that unhappy, you have to try someone else. Did you voice your concerns to the perspn who just did your trial? Maybe they can try something different or use less foundation.
I'd call and discuss it with the makeup artist before trying to find another one. I'd ask her to do a new trial - but maybe not a full one (i.e. no eyes if you were ok with those)
I had my trial with JN and the first time I didn't like the color scheme, so she just tried something else and I was VERY pleased, and then I liked the airbrushing lot but I thought it was too thick, so we tried reg. foundation and that worked better for me, so I would just speak to the artist and I am sure she could try a lighter foundation for you. i would ask for another trial to see if she could do something different. if you dont like the second trial you should try someone else. you want to be happy and look perfect on your wedding day.
