Makeup question...

Is there anybody who is doing their own makeup?

I am doing my own. I decided to go out and spend the $$ I would have to have someone do my makeup on actually nice makeup instead. So I got a whole bunch of eyeshadows, found a nice foundation and every so often when I get bored in the evenings I do my own trial runs to see what I like best. It really is very easy to do your own if you practice and just understand the basics. I know I am in the minority...but it works for me!

Cool-you're my inspiration. A friend of mine went to several makeup trials b4 her wedding and realized that she could do the same as long as she had the best makeup. So she did her own face and she honestly looked beautiful the whole day. So, she is going to help give me pointers.

I think I'll be doing my own. I don't trust anybody else. When I mentioned hiring someone to a couple of my friends, cousin, and FH, they got upset and insisted I should do my own makeup.

One of my friends even asked me to do her makeup for her wedding. (I get requests to do friends' makeup all the time.)

Believe it or not, I enjoy painting my face.

I was looking for makeup referrals and came across this thread. I think it's great for you to do your own makeup -- and I think I might try it myself!

I went to a MAC makeup trial on Saturday and I loved it! I bought over $100 in products but it's totally worth it! And the girl showed me how to apply it on myself and eveything...definitely check it out!!!!
