how early did you book your makeup artist? I havent begun my search yet (any recommendations welcome) but wonder if i should go for a trial this summer since I am tan (and i anticipate being tan for my wedding next summer), or if I could wait til the winter and just hope they get the colors right when i am tan vs not tan. does that make sense? am i crazy to be concerned about a tan & makeup colors???

I am going for my trial in August for my May wedding date and I am most likely officially booking with this MUA because I love her work. She does have my date penciled in so no one else books.

Kim Clarke is wonderful. You can find her at the Estee counter at Macy's Walt Whitman. On a quiet weekday night, she'll 'play' with your makeup right at the counter. Loved her! FM me if you'd like her info...
