I spoke to a makeup artist today to get a rough idea for pricing the day of. She quoted me $350 for the bride and $125-$150 for everyone else depending on how much work she had to do. I thought that was too much to ask my bridesmaids to spend on makeup and then I was told that I'm supposed to pay for their makeup . That is alot of money for 9 girls! Are you ladies paying for bm makeup. Does this price sound reasonable?

That is extremly high. I am using Lola Loves makeup. The bride is $175 and the BM are $65

That is a crazy high price. Look further. I have an appt with Divine Artistry, which I got off LIWeddings, and she is much more reasonable. Also, the bridesmaids at the weddings I've been to have paid for their own makeup

That's high! It seems to be usually around $100-$150 for the bride and $75-$100 for each BM. Thats what I seemed to find.

$350 for the bride? That is very very high. The most I have been quoted is $175.

She told me that she is a pro artist for MAC. I was assuming that was the going rate but obviously not. Thanks ladies for your help. I will definitely start searching elsewhere!

that seems really high to me (for both).
I am paying $90 for me and $75 for the BMs and my mom.

ITA with Divine Artistry!! Donna is wonderful and she was my favorite vendor to work with!

That price is REALLY high! Try Marie Katz...she's awesome and a vendor on her.
Also, you don't have to pay for the makeup if you don't want to. Some brides do as a gift but I didn't, I got them enough things to have.

Me too 125 for the bride. bridemaids range from 55-75 depending how many girls you have
