Ok I usually don't wear any makeup (lack of time in the morning and I'm too lazy). Anyway I went for one trial a few weeks ago. It was airbrushing and she really did do a very nice job but it just really wasn't me. I just felt so weird, I was embarrassed to go into the bank afterward cause I thought everyone would be staring at me. So I have a few questions. Who is everyone else using for makeup? Does regualr makeup stay on as long (and outlast the tears) as well as airbrushing? Did anyone else feel like this after their trial? Maybe it was the colors she used (they were sort of pinkish) but I would rather something way more neutral. I was thinking some foundation, a little blush, concealer for under the eyes. Then some mascara or fake lashes and then a really pretty and sheer gloss for lips. But then everyone keeps telling me that I need more for pics. Well if I don't have a lot of makeup will I look really dead. Please help I am so lost . Thanks!!!

Re: Makeup Question, Please Help!!! (sorry long)
You need to feel comfortable. Ask for the colors you prefer. The airbrushing is actually lighter than appling sountation by hand. You can even buy the colors you like and most make up artists will use them. Make up is needed for pictures, but you also want to look like yourself in person.

i'm using a woman from the clinique counter at macy's. the trial is free and then she will come to my house on my wedding day. i use their products so i thought it would be a great idea. i'll let you know after my trial next week.

I am using Oksana. She does not do airburshing, but her makeup did stay on the whole day. I even had a performance the same evening as my trial and the makeup lasted. I think that she did a wonderful job. I also did not feel like I had a bunch of makeup on. You might want to check her out.

I used JN and I'm not a huge makeup wearer myself. I loved what she did though and it stayed on all night (I had the airbrushing). I think you just need to play around with colors to find something your comfortable with.
I would definately recommend getting your makeup done though because you might look a little washed out in all the pictures if you don't.
