Hello all...I emailed Oksana about doing a makeup trial and told her my wedding day..blah blah and she told me that she is already booked for June 13, 2008.
So I was just wondering if anyone knew someone who was close enough to Queens or would actually come to my house that day? I think I remember someone posting that Jacqueline Nicole doesn't come to Queens, right?

im having the same problem as you! im in howrad beach and i was thinking of getting a trial doen at Marco's on 101st Avenue in Ozone Park. A few of my friends have had theirs done there and it always looks nice.

yeah jacqueline nicole won't travel to queens. There is a make up artist in queens and her name is Sachiko

i don't know much about the vendors on LIW cause i have only contacted 1 so far..but for my girlfriends wedding we used the make up artist from red chair salon in maspeth.. he did an AMAZING job and although we went to the salon.. they sent someone to my friend's house to do her make up there and we live in brooklyn, so you could always look into that.. other than that i'm really no help.

I'm also from Queens...is anyone thinking of traveling into Manhattan for hair and makeup maybe stay in a hotel the night before and take a limo back. Is that crazy?

well my make up artist is from manhattan so she will travel from manhattan to queens. I was thinking of staying the night before in a hotel in the city since FH and i plan on doing that the night of our wedding, and this way i dont have to pay for a travel fee but i think i prefer to get ready at home
