I posted once before regarding makeup, but unfortunately I didn't get much of a response. Could anyone recommend makeup artists that do not have minimum requirements and that are reputable. I am supposed to go for a makeup trial with Oksana (actually her assistant, because she isn't available on my day) and she has a minimum. If I don't meet that minimum the day of I am still responsible for paying for all four people. I also tried Beauty by Beth but she wasn't available. So, any ideas? I am starting to get nervous. -TIA

Hmmm... have you posted this on the vendors board? I don't know of any make up artists off hand that don't have minimums. Definitely post this on the vendors board.

I just did my make up trial with Linette Simone and she was great and doesn't require a minimum. You can see my trial:
Have you tried Jillian from Gorgeous Faces? She's a vendor here and has some really great reviews..

Do you need someone to come to you? If not, check your hair salon. Mine has a make-up artist on-site.

How about Denise from Angel Eyes? She's a vendor on here. I'm not sure if she has a minimum though.

Jill Harth. She is expensive, but doesn't have a minimum and does fabulous work.

I was going to say Denise from Angel Eyes as well. I don't think she has a minimum. Call and ask! She's a vendor here.

I'm using Mia from bridal lounge - she does hair and makeup and doesn't require a minimum.

She did my make up and my bridesmaids make up and it was amazing! I received do many compliments about how great the make up looked.
When I got my proofs back, I was amazed at what a wonderful job she did! She is also so calm and so nice, that she gives you a little peace during such a crazy day! She is a make up artist for Trish Mcevoy, so her make up is quality. I can not stress how great she is!

I am going for a trial at the Bobbi Brown counter at Bloomies tonight. I'll let you know.
I had one trial already with a vendor from here, and I didn't like it.
