makeup tipping

my makeup artist is coming to the house and charging me $150 and the girls $75 each. Do we tip her since she is coming here?

That is up to you. If she is the owner you really don't have to tip her. I am also having them come to do all of us. I plan on tipping for all of the girls.

why is she charging you so much to do your makeup? is it airbrush or what? thats alot of money, my makeup is going to be $20 and my hair only $30..and my trial is free. i looked for a hair dresser for 2 months and finally found her. she works at regis salon, but since they dont do makeup there she is just gonna come to my house and do everything there. i would keep looking, spending that much is kinda crazy to be honest.

When a makeup artist comes to you, you are not supposed to tip. Some people do, however, if they are really happy with it, but no, you are not supposed to.

it really depends. I would say 15%.
However, if she does an exceptional job, more. A not so exeptional job, nothing.

My makeup artist came to me,,,,,,and not only stayed for the makeup but she stayed through the whole getting ready process just to make sure that everything was Perfect right up until I went down the aisle.
This was unexpected and went way above the call of duty....so I gave her 25%.
