Makeup trial #1 with pics

Here are pics from my first makeup trial. I asked for a very natural look since I'm having a day time wedding. The only thing i didn't like was how she did my fake lashes...they were really clumpy because she used a LOT of glue. She's going to go heavier on the blush and the eye shadow on the day of....(sorry i don't have a before pic)

I wonder if strip lashes would be a better option since they're easier to attach?

I'm going for a trial in april with oksana just to see if I like someone else better....

very nice, and it does look very natural...btw you dont have to go for strip lashes...I did individual lashes and its really not hard at all and mine didn't get all clumped up

You look very pretty!

I like the 'natural' look, and your eye makeup looks great.

Its funny i had no intention of getting them either, i have long lashes so didnt think they would even do it. But for my e-party he just did it, he put just a few individual pieces at the end to make it just a little bit fuller.

I was very wary of fake lashes, but I got them for my eparty and they were great. My makeup artist did the individual ones like Denise mentioned, I didn't feel them at all and I thougth they made my eyes look great without looking over the top fake. I'll be doing them again for my wedding!

who did your make up trial?

I used Melinda Mo....she was recommended to me by another asian LIW bride. I always kind of worry about having non-asians do my makeup because of my coloring and my eyes.

She works at the Chanel counter in some of the macy's in long island.

correct. she doesn't do airbrush because girls either hate it or love it. The main reason airbrushing is used is because it's quick application. She used to do it for fashion runway models. Makeup artists usually charge more for airbrushing which is BS beacuse it takes less time.

I agree, especially if your not used to wearing makeup.

Hi there....'07er crashing.

I think you look very nice, but imho I think that more could be done to make your eyes 'pop.' I am half Korean, and had a difficult time finding someone who knew what to do with my features. I went for a trial a few weeks ago with Sachiko Yanase, and she was awesome, and soooo reasonable. Feel free to fm me if you want her information.

Yeah...i want more done with my eyes. But that was partly my fault. It looked like SOO much eye makeup when I looked in the mirror, so I told her to stop putting more on. I think I just have to line the bottom as well. I wanted Sachiko, but she is going on vacation on my date thanks anyway though!

Yeah but doesn't it last longer? and also i heard it is lighter on your face which i would love...I dont wear alot of make up and i hate the way alot of it feels on my face...Guess ill try both methods and see what i like best
