OK so I had my makeup trial on Saturday and I have mixed feelings about it. I think it came out great in the pictures i took (will post later), but that's after I wiped some of the pink off my cheeks and took off the lipstick. Since I had to change things myself afterwards, does that mean I should try someone else.... or would you have the same person do it but just tell her to change those things the day of..... confused!!

Re: makeup-trial advice
was the trial expensive? could you do another?
i would call the person and explain your concerns. maybe she will do a re-do for free?

Re: makeup-trial advice
it sounds like you basically liked the person but the makeup was a little heavy, i would book them and just talk to them about how you'd like to see the trial changed for the day of, or even have a second trial as the date approaches.
finding a good hair/makeup person is really hard (and by good, i mean someone good for YOU)

Re: makeup-trial advice
Just let her/him know about that..if you liked everything else, toning down is easy...
Don't forget with the professional lighting and digital cameras, it may be ok day of.
I toned down some after my trial and just told her...she wasn't mad...
