Was your trial with Maureen Pedala? I recognized the background You look so natural & pretty with such a glow--you have a gorgeous smile!!

I went to Maureen Pedala - She's so adorable and professional. I'm absolutely going to have her do the makeup that day, I just don't know what 'look' to go for......

I know what you mean. I had a trial with Maureen and actually booked her--the makeup photographs SOOO well, but I felt like it was a little too heavy in person. SHe definitely seems like the kind of person you can express that to and she'll work around what you want. I think it looks really good though!

As for what to watch for in makeup artists, I would say make sure that if you tell an artist what look you're going for that they listen to you. I've seen some artists who have their own idea of what will look good on you (which is great) but they should discuss that with you before you spend $$$$ on the trial. Good luck!!
