Makeup Trial Tipping

Ok, here's the situation. I'm having a 're'-trial with Denise from Angel Eyes tomorrow. I used her for my friend's wedding and thought that the makeup was a bit strong but I really liked her and trust that she can do what I want her to do. Anyway, I paid full price for a BM when I did it the first time + $5 ($55 + $5). Tomorrow, the charge is $25 (her normal trial charge). Do I tip her? If so, how much?

ETA: the trial is at her house, if that matters at all.

Re: Makeup Trial Tipping

I would say if you are happy with the results of the trial, I would probably tip her $5 or $10. Actually, being the trial is $25, I'd tip her $5.

Re: Makeup Trial Tipping

I have 4 trials on next week so this thread can help me a lot too.

I have appointments with Oksana, Jillian from Gorgeous Faces, Dina from Beautiful Possibilities, and Ayana from MAC.

Re: Makeup Trial Tipping

Well I think airbrushing is extra, but is it extra for the trial? I was thinking $10 but $5 sounds better to me.

I have a trial with her tomorrow too! Maybe we will see each other.

Re: Makeup Trial Tipping

I think 5 is fine - but I have seen many people on the boards say they usually tip 10 for both $25 and free trials.

Re: Makeup Trial Tipping

I had a trial with Denise from Angel eyes with me and my Mom and I tipped her $10 for the both of us.

I had a trial last week with Jillian and I was sooo happy with my trial I tipped her $15.
