I got my makeup trial today with Jackie from I Makeup You. I really liked her work. However, I just feel like it looks like similar makeup to what I do myself when I go out. I wanted a little bit of a different look than my 'going out' look. My first trial I had I liked too but I felt the same way. I guess I'm a little frustrated? I have a third appointment for a trial with Mia from Bridal L0unge in two weeks. I'm kind of hoping she gives me the look that I'm kind of going for. It's not that I didn't like the way it came out for either trial - I did like both, but I just don't feel 'bride' like. I hope that makes sense!! Sorry for the long post!!
the lips, IMO, could have a little more color but i love the glossy look

I think it looks very pretty, but I see what you're saying. Maybe a little more color in the eyes or the lips. They're both pretty subtle in these pictures. Your'e going to look beautiful though!

I think you will be gorgeous no matter what. I think she did a great job BUT if you do your makeup the same as when you go out that's understandable. Maybe she could of darken the eyes or the lips some more. Next time tell them that you want to look different. . .or maybe when they are done you could add a little more to the eyes and get a before and after.
HTH and you will look amazing no matter who does your makeup

I think you look beautiful but I see what you mean. Tell Mia that you want a more dramatic look - she's known to be perfect at what she does. Hoping to get a trail with her soon :)

I think it came out really nice. I know what you mean though. She did my makeup and she did a wonderful job. I booked her. But it's nothing different then what I would do if I were going out. I think people who know how to apply makeup and are used to wearing it have a little tougher of a time finding someone to do thier makeup.

I like it!! Very natural.. M ia will probably do a more dramatic, bride like look.. That's just her style from what I have experienced. I am using her and I love her!! Good luck with the trials! I think they've been great so far! :)
