Makeup trials

Does anyone know of where to get a free trial?? Seems a little nuts to me to spend $50, $100,and up to $250 I have heard for a makeup trial??

And what if you hate it?

I remember planning my sister n laws wedding and she got free trials all over the place. But unfortuantely for me she did't save any info. .

Not free but Andrea from Lola Loves Makeup is only $35 for a trial. For the day of, she's $125 for bride ($150 with airbrush) and $55 for BMs which is REALLY reasonable, compared to some other MU artists I've seen.

The only place I know that its 'free' is in the mall. You only have to buy a piece a makeup. I called tons of makeup artist when I was getting married and none of them where free. I agree paying that much for something you will wash off in a few hours is crazy, but sometimes you ave no other choice

MAC is the only place I know of but, I did buy some of the make-up she used when I got it done for my engagement pics.

For my wedding I used Kelly from Glam Me Up....she's amazing! Unfortunately she doesn't offer a free trial but, I would highly recommend her.

Check out her website: www.glammeupny.com

I understand what you're saying about pricing of trials, if you dont like your first one and you have to go to a few it can definitely get pricey.... BUT (and maybe this is just me and im totally crazy) I wouldnt want to go to a free trial because something feels wrong about that haha like are they even going to be good? are they professional? certified? i dunno sounds strange maybe but how can they afford giving out free trials all the time? Maybe Im just silly about the whole thing... but I feel like theres always a catch to something when its free... then again, if its free it cant hurt to go right?
JMO and maybe Im wrong... but i wanted to put it out there! HTH! and Good Luck!!
