I am so happy to report this has a happy ending!

Lemons,
I just called Kacey from Khalouds but she was booked. But she is so awesome!! I mean she doesn't even know me but she gave me recommendation to someone else and said to call her back and let her know how it works out.

She recommended someone and I called and booked her! Whew! I am so relieved! I definitely did not need this stress a month before the wedding!

Im so sorry!!

m,aybe try going to some makeup counters at department stores and talking to some of the artists and see if there i someone you like- usually they do free trials too.

They cancelled on you so you are automatically entitled to it. I hope your contract states this. That is just not fair, I am pissed for you

Yes. I am demanding it back!

There is no formal contract (this is just one makeup person, not a company), but I have all the e-mails which state the wedding date, time, etc.

omg that's terrible! i'm glad you were able to book somebody else!

if you feel comfortable, can you FM me the vendor? i just contacted several vendors on here for hair and makeup and i'd like to avoid any potential stress!! thanks so much!!

OMG I'm so sorry.....call around and ask...I'm sure you can get someone to do it for you. Ask ladies at makeup counters in the mall too...that might help!

That really *****, I'm so sorry! It's good you know now what kind of vendor she is, you don't want to work with people like that.

I had the same thing happen with my hair stylist (not a vendor here) But it worked out for the best. A friend/acquantance from high school now owns her own salon and offered to do our hair and make up and she's $10 less than the other lady.

It will all work out in the end and you will get someone amazing!

That is terrible very sorry to hear that. If you've had no luck replacing her & would like contact info for my makeup artist FM me. she is a friend of mine, responsible & wonderful. very talented - licensed M.A.C. artist.
