i have almost booked my makeup and i just came across anee demarco.. has anyone booked with her?? it seems her makeup is very natural looking.. i do not like wearing a lot of makeup.. here is my delemia.. her prices are kinda high (if she comes the location) if i go to her location its a lot less..but i feel like the morning is going to be hectic...any thoughts on this? do i stick with who i booked with (kinda pricey) or go wtih anne demarco?

Re: makeup what to do..
IMO you do not want to be driving all over the place that morning. I would rather book with someone who comes to me.
I don't know who you booked with, but are the prices that different?

I booked with anne and i am really happy with my decision she is kinda pricey but only because she has done makeup for kate hudson, goldie hawn, and many others..
I trust that she has done these people and she would be doing my makeup good.

I think Anne Demarco is definitely worth the money. I booked her for my day and also had a trial with her. My trial pics are in my album.
I would spend the extra money and have Anne do my makeup. I am having her come to me the day of so it is about $250 but this is a once in a lifetime thing and is so worth it.

I would say go with your gut feeling. If you really like AD then I'd recommend going with her. Perhaps you could cut back on costs to counteract the difference? Maybe throw in a D.I.Y project for something you initially were going to buy. H.T.H.

Re: makeup what to do..
have you called Anne Demarco and made an appointment or see if your date is available? if you are undecided why dont you go for a trial? Maybe that will help you out... I know the makeup artist are expensive but I think it is worth it ~ you are spending so much on everything for you & fh this day... I would go with someone that you truly love and I know for me I would rather skimp on something else and book the makeup artist that I really love! good luck!
do you have anne demarco's information? or does she have a website?

I LOVE Anne! I booked with her after 5 other trials. She was the only one that actually listened to what I wanted. Yes she's more expensive than some other make-up artists but well worth it IMO. Anne doesn't have a website but she is located in Woodbury (516) 367-2077.

honestly I felt the same way about makeup but after photographing alot of weddings and seeing how much work these makeup artists put into the brides make up .. they really earn it.. sometimes the makeup applications can be 40 min. long.. Plus for myself I have come to the realization that there are some things that are worth spending money on..
