I would start calling around ASAP - your wedding is on THE most popular wedding date in the last decade so I'm sure a lot of the popular makeup artists are booked. Go on to the Vendors page here and call all the MU artists and see. I've heard really great things about:

Oksana (makeup) and Jenn Hair Genie (hair)
Mia from B ridal L ounge (makeup and hair)
Jacqueline Nicole of Pretty Me (makeup, not sure about hair)
Khouloud's Beauty (makeup and hair)
Sanchiko (makeup and hair)

As for Denise from Angel Eyes, I personally did not have a great experience when I spoke to her (when she found out I was getting ready at my home - which is not on LI - she was rude, which was not necessary). But I do hear she does GREAT work if you're gettting ready on LI.
