What do you do that makes your house feel like a home?
Since we have been married we have been doing renovations to our apartment and it hasnt truly felt like a home. Lately, I have been trying to cook on a more steady basis which it makes it much more home like in my opinion. Also decorating for the holidays makes it feel warm and cozy.
What do you ladies do?

Re: Making a house a home..
Good question!
I find cooking definately helps. Also, eating together as a family, which doesnt happen too often for us because of his crazy work schedule. To me, candles make a house very 'homey'. The scent and the light just make me feel warm and fuzzy

Pictures, knickknacks, candles and people sitting around my kitchen table! I truly believe that your kitchen is the center of your home and when friends and family come over we are usually all in the kitchen talking laughing and eating together!

I am a picture freak. All over the place. People love it. So cozy. Also, little decorative chachkas like the bouquet or a framed invitations. My hsbands little cousins made us colored cards for our wedding and they are on our refrigerator.
