Making a photo montage?

Hey Girls,

So I am not the most technically inclined person, but I am a quick learner. Can anyone suggest a program to use to make our photo montage and set it to music?

I just made one for the first time a few weeks ago! i used windows movie maker. It was alreasy installed on my laptop when I got it. It was super easy to use and I was able to incorporate all the songs I wanted to use as well.

My back up plan was shutterfly! For 19.99 you can make your own and they will process it for you and send you the DVD. The downside was that you can only use the songs they had available...which were all cheesey!

Thanks for the suggestions girls! Hopefully I can have the Windows Movie Maker! I didn't really like the music selections for Shutterfly either.

I don't know if you know someone who has it but Nero is pretty easy to use and you get to pick whatever song you want.

I did it for my sisters wedding. I made a DVD with different chapters and used each of her important songs (first dance, entrance, cake cutting, father daughter etc) to be the music for each chapter.

on a mac iphoto or imovie has this option too...a little less intutitive

Just wondering -- are you giving this to the DJ to play for you or are you bringing your own screen and stuff so you don't have to pay for it??

I have 50' plasma being provided by my DJ to have in the cocktail room, but I am making the montage myself so I am not limited to 50 pictures, another reason I am doing it during the cocktail hour- I don't want to slow the party vibe once the reception gets going.
