Making dinner!!!! Salmon Loaf, baked potatoes, peas, and carpenter ants!!!!

Don't worry, the ants ARE NOT in anything, but boy, do we need to set some ant traps!!!! They keep popping up on my kitchen counter! Can't wait to taste my salmon loaf!! Mom use to make it when I was growing up. Canned salmon, bread cubes(actually, I just tear the bread in bitty pieces),a bit of egg and milk, salt and pepper, perhaps some onion, and there ya go!!!! My Husband is taking a few days off work to golf, and relax. Yesterday he helped Fred put two new white kitchen cabinets together, so Debi can put her kitchen stuff away. And he hung some wall stuff, but still a lot of paintings to go!!!!!! What's everyone else having for dinner/supper? Mary MOB

Hmm sounds interesting! love baked potatoes, not so sure about the salmon loaf though LOL

Not sure what is for dinner tonight - going for a manicure/pedicure after work and then to visit DH's niece bc she had tubes put in her ears today!! then when i get home I will have to throw something together!

ETA: We had a terrible ant problem this year, so far so good for this year though!

Never had salmon loaf. Sounds yummy. My uncle makes salmon cakes for breakfast. SO YUMMY with eggs!!!!

Oh, bless that little one!!!! Many children after this surgery, have achy ears. I've had ear issues from little on up, and have great empathy for anyone experiencing similar problems!!!! My ear specialist from Phila. would not put tubes in my ears, because he said it was a miracle I could hear, after having so many ear infections, and the insides of my ears looked like the Battle of Gettysburg!! And, he didn't want to mess with my hearing, by putting tubes in. May THE LORD bless and heal this little one!!!!!!
I usually throw something together too, but thought I'd cook for DH tonight!!! Enjoy your mani/pedi!!!!!! Mary MOB
