making jewelry?

making jewelry?

I'm thinking of making jewelry for my girls since there are so many of them. Is it tacky if I use fake pearls or stones? I really like the simplicity of the illusion jewelry and most of my girls don't wear much jewelry on a regular basis. Thanks for your input!

Why not use fresh water pearls instead? You can get those relatively cheap. Or, you can get swarovski crystals loose for a decent price too. I'd use something that would hold up a little better. It will look nicer too.

Thanks misty...would you happen to know where I could get such things?? I hate feeling so clueless about some things......but I'm willing to make the effort in trying!
