I picked my BP dresses. They are all going to be wearing floor length, strapless black chiffon dresses (pic in album). I have 2 MOH's and 3 BM's. How do I make my two MOH's (one is a maid, one is a maiden) stand out from the other girls since they are all wearing identical dresses?
I was thinking a belt or sash... since we are doing a winter wedding I like the idea of a snowflake brooch (pic below) but how would I even go about that - just buy it and have them pin it on the side of their waist? I'm obviously totally clueless and need some ideas! THANKS!

Re: Making MOH stand out
The BM's dresses are soo pretty!! I actually like the idea of the snowflake broach instead of the sash. You could take a picture of the broach to the place you ordered the dresses and ask them for thoughts/opinions/suggestions. I would think the broach would go on the side, but I'm sure there's other ways to wear it!
The other thing you could do is make the BMs hair down and the MOHs hair up (or vise-versa). Something that visually makes them stand out from every angle.

Making MOH stand out
I love the snowflake. You could have different flowers too. My BP have the same dresses and then MOH has rhinestone on her flowers.

Love the snowflake, I think it will look amazing with the black dresses! You could also do different jewelry for them maybe, if you're purchasing their jewelry. Like if the BM's are wearing post earrings, the MOH's would wear chandelier earrings or something like that. The different hair is a good option too!

This! I was thinking of a different bouquet for my MOH. I love the snowflake brooch too! It's beautiful.

Thanks ladies! I like the idea of doing their hair differently, but I am letting everyone do their hair however they want (updo, down, etc) so that idea won't really work. I do like the idea of the broach though so I may go with it. :)

Re: Making MOH stand out
buy it and give it to them when they start their fittings- the seamstress they use can sew it onto the dress for them

Re: Making MOH stand out
The snowflake is nice. I was MOH twice and both weddings the only difference was the flowers. Mine were either larger or different in some way from the bridesmaids. Usually the MOH stands closer to the bride & groom during the ceremony and holds the brides bouquet and then there's the speeches so they stand out throughout the night regardless..I don't think you have to go crazy.

Re: Making MOH stand out
That's gorgeous! I'm not sure how that works on attaching it but the people at the dress shop would know. My MOH is having different flowers than the bridesmaids but knowing my sister's personality, I think she wants to stand out even more, haha.
