Making my own invitations!

After months of looking and not finding what I had in mind, I decided I'm going to make my own! This is kind of what I'm looking to make:

Do you guys know how much they would end up costing that way? Just wondering if it was worth it

Re: Making my own invitations!

The one on the homepage of cardsandpockets.com says they made the whole invitation for $2.76 each and if you got them handmade from someone else, the prices i've been getting is $5-$8 per invite.

Are you including the printer you might have to buy and the ink to go along with it? Just want girls to be aware of all the lil expenses that come with it... cuz I have heard about 1 too many girls on here that in the end, turn out to spend way over the amt they had planned

You can go right to Kinkos and have the thermography printing done there and it's pretty inexpensive!

My sister and I did her pocketfolds last year. You'll be surprised at how easy it is after you figure out the dimensions of everything. Good luck and feel free to ask me any questions you might have about them!

Do you mean the dimensions of the insert cards?

I really don't plan on spending to much on invites. I am even thinking about getting them from Party City when they have a big sale. How many people do you know save your wedding invite. I know right after the wedding it goes in the garbage.

i will be making pocketfolds right along with you... I am only ordering the pocketfold from cardsandpocket and i'm getting the invitations from Michaels for $39.99 for 100 and then using the 40% off coupons.... then cutting it down to size, i already ordered a sample from cardsand pockets to get the measurements
