I really want a Video Montage to show during our reception however I'm not willing to pay the photographer over $100 for it. Our DJ doesn't do this since he does DJing as a second job. My question is, what program could I use to make a video montage? I have a Mac, if this helps. Has anyone made their own video montage before? The place were having our reception at, has a screen and a dvd player so that's not a problem. The only problem is figuring out how best to make it! Any help would greatly be appreciated! TIA!

Re: Making our own Video Montage?
I have a pc and I recently used Windows live movie maker to make a photo montage of my newborn niece. It came out great.

Re: Making our own Video Montage?
I have done a few montages using onetruemedia.com. If you send me your pictures, I can do it for you...Just give me the titles/artist of the songs you want and I'lll do it for you free of charge (you just pay for CD).

Re: Making our own Video Montage?
we made a slideshow for our RD on iMovie. iDVD was an epic failure and iPhoto was not fancy enough (coudln't add music).
iMovie was exactly what we wanted - added music, text, photos.
BUT keep in mind, the equipment for a slideshow is not cheap.

thanks! We don't need to pay for the equipment. The RH has a screen and dvd player for us to use.

Re: Making our own Video Montage?
thanks girls for the help! My mom just told me that her friend's husband, who is a graphic artist, actually does video montages. So, I'll probably just have him do it for us. But now I know what program I can use, if for some reason he can't do it for us. Thanks again!

Re: Making our own Video Montage?
I personally would pay the $100 because it would take me hours to do a video montage and it would drive me crazy.
