There was some kind of error with my first post - I'll try this again.
I designed a little Save the Date in Photoshop and want to make it into a magnet.
If I pick up magnet making supplies at Staples, will the quality be good enough? I'm afraid that it will fade, or smudge, or be ruined if any water gets on it (like fridge condensation).
Am I better off sending the jpeg file to an internet company who can professionally print it for me?
Thank you for your suggestions and ideas!!

teach2be - I remember seeing your magnet - it came out Great! What type of supplies did you use? Did you use a regular ink jet printer?
Thank you!!

I used my regular ink jet printer at home. I printed the cards on avery card stock that I bought at staples. Then I attached them to magnet size business cards. They came out great...so far, no smudges. My sisters must have gotten lost in the mail (go figure) and her envelope came all wrinkled and stuff...but her's looks just as good as mine does. Good luck!
ETS. I added pictures. First one is the magnet...second one is the card that I sent. I sent the cards to only OOT's and I send the magnets to everyone. FM if you have any questions.
I wonder if you can spray it with a clear coat of protective finish? Might protect it better.

I actually bought laminate sheets at Micheals and cut them to fit the STD magnets I bought..just to preserve them longer..

What I did was extremely simple. I ordered magnetic paper from magnetvalley.com. It is a lot thicker than regular paper and the same thickness as the ones I was going to buy from a vendor. I made my setup in photoshop with 6 magnets per page(this made them like 3 by 3 or a little bigger). Then I simply printed them off my inkjet printer and cut them using those wavy scissors from Michael's. If you need assistance, fm me and I would be more than happy to assist !!
