I was just wondering, at the reception, who traditionally makes the toast. I know the best man does, but does the maid of honor make an additional toast also, or is it just up to the best man. I have heard different opinions from different people. Thanks girls!!!!

Re: Making the Toast Question
Traditonally I think its just the best man, but at all the weddings I've been at the Maid of Honor has given a speach or toast. Sometimes that is done at the rehersal dinner instead.

Re: Making the Toast Question
Both my maid and matron of honor will be making toasts. I asked them to. New traditions are always welcome.

Re: Making the Toast Question
Probably my MOH, FBIL, and dad will give toasts. I was talking with my MOH a few days ago, and she's already nervous about the toast with over a year away!

My MOH will be doing a toast, in addition to the BM.

Re: Making the Toast Question
Traditionally it is the Best Man but I've been at a couple of weddings where the Maid/Matron of Honor did too.
