Making up something so that others can be a part of the wedding

Making up something so that others can be a part of the wedding

So, I wanted a small bridal party, i have two sisters and then my three best friends from high school and asked them.

Then I had my 3 roommates, but beacause of not being able to afford it, and not wanting to have one, but not the other two, i decided not to include them in the actual bridal party, but I do want to include them in the wedding somehow...

We're not having a long mass, so readings are out of the question, but I was wondering if anyone was in a similar situation, and what you did to include friends who weren't in the bridal party in the wedding.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!

i'm kind of in the same boat. you can always have them do the little things like handing out the programs or the bubbles (or whatever you're using). Like I said I'm having the same problem!

You could have them stand at the back of the church (or ceramony site) Greet the guests, hand out programs and escort them to thier seats.

I have the same problem. What about handing out the what you are trying like if you are throwing roses bird seed etc.

Yea, all those ideas are good, here are some things I'm throwing around too.

I am thinking of having the music start and they all walk down with a single rose in their hand right before my mother. Also, handing out programs, being the guest book greeter, readings, etc.
