Making your own C-Pieces: Crazy?

Making your own C-Pieces: Crazy?

So Fresh Roses has great prices on all kinds of flowers. If I want a centerpiece that looks like this, am I crazy to try and do it myself or have my sister do it the day before the wedding?

If you have the time and patience the answer is NO you're not crazy. Here's the catcher..... Will you have someone be able to set them up on each table on the day of your wedding, transport them to the place, etc? These are things you have to consider if you plan on DIY.

Good luck!

Agreed - not crazy IF you handle putting them together and have someone to transport (w/o breaking, etc) and set up.

By the way: is that a too-simple c-piece? I am watching my budget like mad and flowers was one area I decided to not overspend on.

My CP's are very similar ... I wanted simple. Approx what is your flower budget?

I do not think you are crazy!

My mother and I will be making my centerpieces, as well as all the bouquets, boutioneers (sp?) etc.... (My mother used to own a florist)

We are purchasing the flowers through my aunt--'Flowers by Rosemarie' And my aunt will be delivering and setting them up for us.

As long as you arrange for someone to deliver and setup for you, I think you will be fine. You could even make them 2-3 days before the wedding. since the roses will look better the more they are opened.

It is definately a beautiful classy centerpiece! a

Good Luck! {

I'm embarrased to say that I don't have a set budget - - just the best I can do with the least amount of $$.

Those look easy enough to make, I'd order a few flowers now and just to see how long they keep.
