I just had a trial with Erica from Pod Spa -Wow, she knows her stuff.
I am not a makeup person, and had no direction for the day of.... Erica showed me differnt ideas and options that I had no ideas were possible. Oh, and she also does this cheek blush trick that literally makes you look 10lbs thinner, amazing.
If it weren't enough, she also helped me with my hair -I have fine curly hair, which had me perplexed with how to handle it for the big day. She played with my hair to show me some styles she thought would compliment my face and work with my hair type. The whole experience finally gave me a picture of what I wanted to look like day of.
very pretty...i like that is very subtle and doesn't scream 'HEY LOOK AT MY MAKE UP'

Thanks for all the compliments -I feel funny having everyone check out my mug, but I wanted to pay the girl her props! And of course, I love getting the second opinions!
I actually met Erica at her apt (in Queens), but she usually travels to you (its a traveling spa) -it just happend to be more convinient for us both to meet at her place.
