Makup trial ...WITH PICS

I went for my first makeup trial. I wasn't as wow'd as I thought I would be. I don't know what I was expecting.

Please disregard my hair, I had pulled it back, and it looks like crap. What do you think? Please be honest!

laura i think you're beautiful! i love the eyes and lips, but would change the shade of blush, a little too pink? maybe a bronzer shade? in any case have fun shopping around some more until you know what you want or find what you like!

Who did you use? I think your eyes can be made up a bit more- they're very pretty and should stand out more- IMO. It looks nice but it's missing something.

When I went for my first trial I wasn't wowed either and it was done by a vendor on this site that many girls use. If you're not happy, keep going for trials.

I think the red lipstick is too bright. Maybe you can try out more make-up artists. You have a beautiful face structure and it needs to be brought out more.

Very pretty except for the blush. I am not an expert so I cant figure out if its too much or too pink.

thanks girls,
i'm going to go for some more trials. i wanted my eyes to stand out more. In person the lips were pinkier and the blush wasn't as brigh, but the eyes looked the same I think. Plus within 3 hours, the eyeliner was all over the place.

I think you look beautiful, but I feel like it's more of an 'everyday' makeup than really special makeup for your wedding. It depends on whether that's the look you want though--something subtle and natural versus very glam.

I want omething more dramatic, that will stand out a bit more.
Originally I had her do smoky eyes, but anyone who looked at me up close would have gotten scared.

I really like it a LOT.
Did you have air brushing? It doesnt look like and thats the only thing I would suggest to give you more of an even skin tone, I think the blush would blend more witha little heavier foundation.

I love the eyes!

I dont like the color lipstick, but I hate almost all color lipsticks, so dont take my opinion on that.

I think it looks great, but it depends on what you like, with the exception of the blush..... its very simple and natural, I tend to like it a little more ' dramatic'..... but if you were going for the 'el naturale' look you got it!

The eyes are fine. If you want more dramatic, you could get a smokier eye.

I'm not crazy about the blush (too pink and too much) or the lipstick (not a good shade).

Keep going on trials until you find some one you like and is on the same wavelength. I had to go to several before I found someone.

I agree. I think the blush is not working. Other than that, I like everything else. You still have time though, so you can still try a few more people.
