Has anyone honeymooned in maldives? How long is the flight? Are there any hotels with meal plans? How uch should I expect to pay if I went there? It is my dream to go here but we are on a pretty tight budget and Im thinking we may just go to an all inclusive in the mexican riviera.

im going to the maldives and we are staying at the W hotel. They do have meal plans but they seem pricey to me we plan on just eating when we feel like it basically, because to me it seems easier and more economical. One and Only has meal plans and the Hilton resort has meal plans. Those are the only hotels i looked at. The meal plans are either full board or half board.
The flight is def. not short. We are flying non-stop from JFK to Dubai, which is a 12 hour flight, and spending a few nights there, then flying from dubai to maldives which is a 7 hour flight. Then you take a seaplane to which ever island you plan on staying.
