MALKMES or JAMES CRESS

both in Port Jefferson.....anyone have any feedback on either???

I'm using Malkmes. I haven't used them yet. What would you like to know? I think they are reasonabley priced. Stacey1403 used them for her wedding too and I think she was really happy.

I used James Cress, aand was tremendously happy with my flowers. They were beautiful, and Mr. Cress is a doll to work with.

I am using James Cress. I just love even the outside of their store. They have been very easy to work with so far.

I second James Cress, and agree with JennRenee. I used them, and LOVED my flowers. Mr. Cress was GREAT to work with.
I did go see Malkmes, and they were cheaper, and the woman was so great who helped us. I just felt more confident in James Cress.

Thanks for the feedback. I am looking at about the same cost so it's now down to who wins me over

Did you all meet with James Cress himself? That's what I heard that he meets with ALL the brides but I never met with him

I have second appts with both of them, so my mind will be made up by next week

I did meet with Mr. Cress for my intial visit, and for my final appointment too. I like that he gives you all diffeent styles of bouquets to hold and walk with them. I was originally going to go with a round, but I LOVED the arm bouquet. I wanted something DIFFERENT.

I forgeot to mention. Mr Cress (the father) works in the big store in Smithtown. That is where I went.

Like Diane, I also met with Mr. Cress. He sat with me for well over and hour and discussed every aspect of my wedding before we started talking about flowers. Once he had a feel for my style and taste, he came out with amazing ideas!

I also booked with James Cress, I did meet with other florists who were cheaper but I had the confidence with James Cress. I met with Mr. Cress himself at the Smithtown location, I beleive that is the only location he meets Brides at, if you have any questions, please e-mail me! Best of Luck!
