Man puts $17,000 add in paper begging for wife's forgiveness

I can't decide if this is really sweet, or a little sketcy...

The guys does get points for creativity though

If her parents had him barred from their gated community - it makes me wonder if he didn't deserve to be left.

Now from a cynic's point of view: He may have used the last 17K he had to run that add in order to have her not go after it in a divorce settlement... pretty sneaky.

I think it's nice unless the forgiveness he needs is for cheating, then screw him!

I guess when you have no other way of contacting someone, this is a good route.

I like to believe in the good in people and hope that he didn't abuse her. If he cheated, he' still scummy, but not like an abuser.

I wonder what will happen.

Cheating is abuse -- emotional abuse and can scar as much as physical abuse....IMO, from my own experience.

I can't help but think he did something really bad -- if her parents are not letting him in and she changed her number - he may be psycho or something.

Scenario: She takes him back, and 2 weeks later she winds up like that poor woman in Long Beach who was never able to give her hubby the complete heave-ho.

If she left him, there's a reason fer sure...
