Has anyone ever stayed here??? Is it worth the extra money? We can stay here or have an upgraded room at another hotel but the pool and beach at Mandalay looks amazing. We are thinking of doing this for our big honeymoon.

I stayed there and loved it, the hotel smells like the beach and the rooms are very spacious I would book it!

Stayed there 3times! It was awesome but there are other nice hotels that are just as nice for cheaper. It depends what you are going there for and what time of year! The palazzo/venetian is beautiful as well. They have nice Jr suites and they are very spacious!

Depends on when you are going and what you are looking for. It is nice, the pool area is huge and lots of fun, very young crowd. FH is going there for his bachelor party. Worth shopping around though, there are lots of great places. I've been to Vegas at the end of March and the pools were all closed for maintenance, so worth checking!

Mandalay is very nice but it's also very far down the strip so there would be A LOT of walking to get to the other hotels.

Mandalay Bay is gorgeous, but beware...when we were there the pool area was swarming with little kiddies. It is also very far on the strip.
If you are flying through Southwest they have a travel section you can check out, we stayed at the Bellagio for an amazing price! It was a more mature crowd and the rooms were beautiful. you can upgrade to a room overlooking the fountains as well.
Another good place to check out would be the venitian or the palazzo (I think that the name of it, it's connected to and run by the venitian) they have good suites for not much more than Mandalay Bay.
Another beautiful place I would recommend is the Wynn. Absolutly goregous. And they are also building a brand new hotel in vegas call Ari or something like that. Google it. It was being built while we were there this summer and looked amazing.
Vegas can be afforable if you do it right and shop around for hotels. I've been many many times!
