I totally agree!!! My Fh is mad about all this. I'm goign to ahve to take care of this and not let him know what I put in the envelope. My hall has a service gratuity and then a mandatory gratuity that is for the management/maitre d. It is over 3 times what I've heard other people suggest for a tip!!! What choice doe I have? I honestly can't wait for the money hemorrage to end.
I'm not tipping the DJ becasue he owns the business but the photographers work for the company so I guess that's OK. Sometimes I think I went into the wrong line of work.

Hold on, service and management gatuity -- you need to do something! That is insane! Have other carlyle brides experienced this?
