Ok girls, so per your advice, I went to walmart yesterday and I was gonna pick up some of the Mane & Tail Shampoo, cuz I really need my hair to grow faster for the wedding. I have a quick question tho. For any of those who have used this product:
1. Should I get the matching conditioner? Or can the shampoo be paired with any conditioner and still serve its purpose?
2. FH thinks this just makes hair healthier, but I was under the impression that it does in fact stimulate hair growth? Is that accurate??

I've heard that it helps hair grow. I have never used it but I am considering buying it. I would imagine pairing the two together it would work 'better'. HTH Good Luck!

it does make the hair healthier which stimulated growth, also trims every few months helps , im growing mine as well, take a daily multi vitamin and vitamin E helps as well

my stylist says that trims do nothing bc hair grows from the root /scalp ???? i am so confused

i used it for a while and it works pretty well i have very thick curly hair and it seemed to loosen the knots better and strengthened it a bit. i switch shampoo and conditioner every few months since it seems to help my hair at least. I loveeeeeee the bed head stuff it works awesome on my hair and panteen is good too HTH

Ok so my most of allmy girl friends have used this! But they used both Shamp/Cond. I cant really help since i have ever used it. GOOD LUCK I HOPE U HAVE LONG LOCKS BY THE WEDDING DAY!

well it is the root and scalp but when you keep your ends healthy it wont break and split and it helps it stay strong.

trims are super important...if the ends are breaking and splitting-it goes up the hair shaft and then you'll actually have to cut off more in the end. I get mine trimmed every 12 weeks and I don't really have any split ends and my hair has always been long. I use panteen, sometimes sunsilk...

I really like the mane and tail conditioner especially because it has sunscreen in it! I do not use the shampoo. do not think it actually stimulates hair growth according to my stylist the conditioner coats the hair preventing breakage.

Wow! I never heard of this before....but now that I know I'm def making a stop and picking it up...just the other day I was complaining on how I wish my hair would grow!

what you put into your body (fat, vitamin e, etc.) is more important than what you put on your hair. consider pre-natal vitamins--my mom says her hair and nails never looked so good.
