Ladies...can someone please give me the most direct and easiest walking/taxi routes to and from each of these locations? TIA : )

1-From Penn Station( Pennsylvania Station 8th Ave & 31st St) to 1564 Broadway (between 46th & 47th Streets)---The Palace Theater

2- From The Palace Theater to Lucky Cheng's....24 1st Avenue...between 1st and 2nd streets.

3-From Lucky Cheng's back to Penn Station (8th Ave & 31st St ).

1. I would take the 1/3 uptown two stops to 50th & B-way if it were me, but if you want to taxi, you should exit Penn Station on the 8th Avenue (Amtrak) side and catch a cab from the cabstand there. The taxi will take you up 8th, make a right on 48th, then a right on Broadway (or have then turn on 46th and drop you at 46th and B-way).

You could also just walk up 8th to 46th, then right over to B-way. This is probably easier than walking up 7th since you don't have to deal with Times Square.

2. This is def. a cab ride. If you are in the post-theater rush you are going to have trouble finding one anywhere where Times Square. I would suggest walking over to 7th (one block west) or even 6th and trying to find one there. If you catch one on 7th, they should go down Broadway to 23rd, then east. If you go to 6th, they will be going north, but should go crosstown on 46th or 48th to 2nd Ave, then down to the East Village.

Best case senario is that you just find one heading east on 46th, but that probably won't happen if all the shows are getting out at the same time.

3. Also a cab ride, should not be to hard to find a cab to take you north up 1st. If you are going to LIRR, best route would be to go uptown to 34th, then west on 34th to 7th. LIRR entrace to Penn is right there.
