Girls,

Is anyone taking pics in Manhattan, not in the park???? Can you share what are the nice places for photography in the city??

I have seen a few couples taking pictures in Grand Central Station and just on the street. I think it's a great idea!

Grand Central Station or outside the NY Public LIbrary.

im doing my photos near the brooklyn bridge. Also that area (brooklyn heights) has pretty brownstone houses and parks well take pics at.

The pier at 72nd street (on west side) - you have a great shot of the GW bridge in the background

I have a couple great pics saved on my comp that were taken in the city. I also had some great ones downtown by some buildings but cant find them.

Washington Square Park, by the Arch

The Met

Empire State building

The outdoor balcony on the third level of the AMC 25 on the southern side of 42nd and 8th.

Columbus Circle fountain

the pier from where the circle lines leave

riverside park

Pier 17 (South St. Seaport)

boat basin at 79th St

Apollo Theater

The Staten Island Ferry (free and you go right by the Statue of Liberty)

The UN plaza

Herald Square

Thank you girls, I will really have to plan on getting to the city earlier and devote extra time to it in case of traffic & to find parking!

But i love your ideas!

I wish i remember where i saved that weddings pics from, they had great pics in the city...But those are amazing

Also, the greenline, a reclaimed el train track that was turned into a park. think it's in chelsea.

depending on when you're doing it, during the summer they close off mulberry street in little italy for foot traffic only.
