What do you do when you want to soak them off and go more natural for a while? I soaked mine off at my last visit and was just going to do a regular manicure. But my nail lady told me to do a silk wrap. I did this and my nails have been good for a couple of weeks. But, I still want to go natural for a while and not go back and keep doing fill-ins.
She told me that when I come back (which I'm going today) to do just a silk fill-in without the powder? Does this make sense? Or can I not do a fill-in and let it grow out for my natural nail to grow in stronger?

Salons don't want you to have natural nails b/c a regular manicure is only $7 or $8. Before I went natural (I used to have silk wraps), they always tried to cross sell me stuff. When I finally took the wraps off, I got an attitude.

I was thinking along the same lines. Actually, another lady who worked there was trying to get my nail lady to charge me for silk wrap extensions. I only had two fingers wrapped with extensions. But my lady charged me for a regular silk wrap. I'm actually glad that I did the silk because except for one of the extensions, my nails lasted for a couple of weeks. Ijust don't know what I should do today when I go back

I have acrylic and when I want to go natural I do nothing. They are bumpy and very thin so I have to leave them be for a few months before I do any kind of manicure besides clear.

This true!! If you want them, soak the wraps off and get a regular manicure.
