i agree with this!!!
Especially when it's hands free and I think they're talking to themselves, so I look at them like they're crazy!

Me too! Especially when I am on the treadmill, wearing headphones, and I can STILL hear the person next to me yammering away.

Funny, I answered the first one with the fact that I can't stand people talking loud on their cell phones at the nail salon, I'm there to relax! I don't mind if people talk on their cell phones, its just when they talk so loud and carry on the entire time I'm there!!!

I think it depends where it is. If you're going to a spa and paying a bunch for the relaxation aspect of the mani/pedi, then I think you shouldn't answer your cell. However, if you're going to the mani/pedi factory for the $15 mani/pedi special (which I'm NOT saying is bad- this is where I go!), then I don't see a big deal in answering the phone while they talk in another language in front of you.

WHen I go to my hair salon I have my phone at the ready because if someone is going to call me there its because there is a problem at home or question about where something is for my kiddies. I do try to keep my voice down and get off the phone ASAP.

When I go to the spa for a massage/facial/etc. I turn that baby onto vibrate and give my babysitter the number to the spa. She can call them and have them interupt me if its that big of a deal.

It was worse a couple of years ago, before hands free was big. There were a few people in my building that I thought were crazy, and then as I saw it become more popular, I realized that they probably don't talk to themselves.

This aggravates me almost as much as somebody talking on their cell phone at the movies. You're not paying to sit there and listen to that person have a conversation, you're paying to relax and enjoy yourself. People can be completely rude when it comes to talking on their cell phones.

I agree fully. If its a quick call or they are talking quietyly that is fine, but not if someone is BSing for 20 minutes & going over every detail of the night before in a loud voice.
