Manor East Caterers

The Manor East does a nice job for the price they charge. Remember you get what you pay for. Linda is right spend a couple of bucks more and look at the Milleridge. You will much happier in the long run.

Its a nice touch but I dont think its expected. I was a reader at my cousins Jan wedding and was surprised when she gave me a gift. It was a nice black cultured pearl necklace.

Any experience with this would be helpful.

Good for you Michelle. I hope that no one gets stressed out if they see negative postings about their hall, vendors or anything else. It's sometimes very helpful when you are still thinking about who to book. But if you already booked, try to look at any info that you get as knowledge in dealing with them. Sometimes we get so worried over nothing.

I am having my reception at the Manor East on February 16th. I have heard both postitive and negative things about them and am taking everything w/ a 'grain of salt'

I'm booked with ME for my nov wedding. We looked at a few of the popular wedding places and I really felt good about ME. The one thing Anythony (one of the owners) had said to me was that he doesn't have gardens or a prime real estate location so he makes up for it with his food. That was a big issue for us. He also seemed to be more into each detail as opposed to the 'Factories' that are out there. One place we went to I couldnt even understand what they were saying and they wanted $40 more than ME. So definitley take it all with a grain of salt, and go with what you want.

Congrats Michelle. We girls gotta stick together. LOL!!! I'm in the Grand Ballroom downstairs. I'm having my cocktail hour in the room with the birds. I forget what it's called. I love my cocktail room, thats what made me fall in love with the place. Kinda like a garden wedding in November. Let me know how you're wedding goes.
