Crazy this is happening all over again.
What can we do to cover ourselves? Amend our contracts by an attorney & or get wedding insurance? It's crazy to me that if we are brides canceled our weddings therefore breaching our contract they will keep all our money & possibly sue us for the balance but places like these can run off with deposits and there are no consequences??
This is getting crazy and can be so nerve racking.....I think they should have some type of a law to protect consumers being if a vendor is in the business of taking a contract deposit or prepayments over say $3000 then you have to escrow the deposits in some way. It's just not fair to all these couples who work hard to pay for their wedding to lose money like this!
