Ignore em -- not worth your time. I LOVE hoe you incorporated all these really great fall details in the classic elegance of the mansion. PROPS TO YOU.

Thanks again Deb. Another fall thing we did was have a cornacopia on the champagne table when our guests first walked into the mansion. Flower Michele did a great job.
My wedding is at the Harrison House, but it isn't for another 9 months (so that probably doesn't help you much). You should search ThongLori. She had her reception at the HH recently, and wrote a really good review.

Why on earth would someone send you a nasty FM- your wedding pictures look absolutely beautiful!

Someone wrote me and said that my review was 'bragging' because I said that some of our friends/family said it was the best wedding they had been to and that for the amount of $ I spent it should have been the best wedding they had been to. It really bummed me out and I havent really posted much since.

Well, I think your wedding was beautiful. Those of us who are actually on this website to get wedding ideas really like to see pictures of beautiful weddings, like yours. Unfortunately, some people let their jealousy get the best of them. The person who said those nasty things isn't on the website for the right reasons...

Meg--your wedding looked GREAT and don't let any negative people bring you down. Just because your guests said that it was the best wedding they'd been to, that doesn't bring anyone else's wedding down--it's not like everyone is entertaining the same 200 guests, you know?! Anyway, I'm glad you posted pics. It's sure to give us all lots of great ideas.
As for mansions available on LI--Bourne Mansion, Harrison House, the Woodlands, DeSeversky (on the NYIT campus), Vanderbilt, Coindre Hall, Oheka (more like a castle than mansion though). Hope this helps!

OMG - I can't believe someone said that!! So many people have posted that people have told them their wedding was the best wedding they have every been too. I've never been offended by those comments...Jealousy is such an uglt trait!!

Whoever said that must have been VERY insecure about their own wedding for your review to make them that defensive. Your wedding looked absolutely stunning!!
