Re: Maps of LI
I just thought it would be nice to put in the OOT bags/baskets because there are many guests not from LI
OMG I am so silly- gas stations would def have them... and how expensive could they be???

AAA is a good bet.

If you have the time, I suggest visiting MacArthur airport. Last time I was there, they had a really good map with all the wineries and local attractions.

What do you mean you have had trouble contacting the CVB????
Did you speak with anyone in the Information Department??
Let me know...
If you are still having problems I can call them for you.
FYI - I don't work there anymore but still talk to them since my good friend still works there.

Those maps are provided by the CVB... Their year round Information Center is there at the Airport as well as at Tanger Outlets.
During the summer (usually before Memorial (maybe open now-Columbus Day) they have Information Centers open on LIE between Exit 51-52 as well as on Southern State between Exits 17-18 I believe.
