marcellabella--quick question!

i love the 'we do' letters---could you tell me what size you got and what brand spray paint! oh and did you get the legs at michaels too? thanks a bunch!

hey honey..

I bought them at Michael's .. they are approx. 8 inches in height.. and spray painted them with meatllic old gold colored spray from ome Depot.. my dad put like 4-5 coats on it.. and then I took paint stirrers and sawed them into smaller pieces and using a glue stick I attached them to the back of each letter..

I love these. What color are they originally before you spray painted them?

Marcella- Are 4 coats really necessary? I was thinking only 1 or 2 How many bottles should i buy? thanks.

They are made out of wood.. so I didn't want them to look woody.. My dad did 4-5 coats..easily.. all you need is one bottle

Karina, make sure you buy spray paint esp. for wood or it'll soak up all the paint/

my colors are platinum & lavendar.... i would borrow them (and i truly appreciate the offer), but i think it'd definitely clash w/everything! no biggie.... i'll make em - but don't be surprised if you see a ford probe driving around levittown lookin' for ya in case i have a problem!!!

I also used We Do Letters. SonicStef let me borrow her's. I am sure she has a photo somewhere on her for girls to see. In fact, I think she sold them to one of the girls on the site. So she would know how much paint is needed and any tips on getting them to look great. I had A LOT of people tell me cute they were, how nice they looked etc....

thanks marcella for the info! i actually bought the 'do' part in michaels but they didn't have the 'we' part! so i have to check out another store! i can't wait for a nice day so i can actually spray paint them!
