favors picked out not ordered yet

I still have a lot to do but at least the big things are out of the way. What is everyone else up to?

Oops sorry. I just realized this says March and not May....I am getting tired.

We are getting Married March 22, 2003
5 Months from Yesterday!

We have booked:
- our church
- reception Hall
- photographer
- ordered my dress (Mori Lee)
- ordered Bridesmaid dresses (jim Hjelm)
- booked band
- blocked Hotel Rooms
- started to register
- florist (still deciding on colors though)

- in the process of doing Invites
- picked out favors not 100% sure if we doing them Yet.

Still Need to:
- book video
- transportation
- book Honeymoon
- find headpiece and jewelry

havent done hair or make-up trial - will do probably in Jan or Feb.

I think that is it so far.
We are in the middle of our Pre Cana right now.


Also still need to buy attendants gift and decide on where rehearsal dinner will be.

I am probably forgetting something but cant think of everything right now.

I am so excited!! The big day is getting closer. Everyone keeps saying once the holidays are done the time is just going to fly by. I hope so.

We are March 29th and have done the following:

Church
Reception

My Dress and veil/headpiece
BM's dresses
Honeymoon
Favors
Centerpieces and bouquets (still need to get altar pieces for the church)
Registering (about 90% done)
Bridesmaid gifts
Reserved a block of rooms for out-of-town guests
Booked room for us for wedding night
Save the Dates (my side have been mailed, but we are having guest list issues with FH's family)
Guest list 80% done
Invites picked out (need to decide on wording and actually order them)

It makes me feel better seeing in writing what's accomplished, but I feel like there are so many more details to take care of.

I am sending my invites out in January (second or third week) I put the response date as Feb 14th.
I have to have a final count by the end of February.

MarchBride-

We are getting married on the same day!

I am thinking of sending mine out week of christmas or first week in January. Dont know what my response date will be yet, probably mid feb too.

I was going to put a response date of March 1st (recommended by the first person I went to for invites) but I decided that was cutting it way to close.

I would wait until after Christmas to send them out. There is so much being mailed out and you don't want the invites to get lost in all the holiday cards.

Yeah I definitely rather do the early date too, and I totally thought about the christmas card rush, THANKS!!

I am actually doing the same timing with my invites (mailing the second week of January w/ a response date of Valentine's day). I am hoping that people will remember the response date and actually mail them back.
