This is my first time on the board! OK, I'm getting married March 19th and so far all I've done is booked my church and the hall. I've looked at a dj and two photographers and stressed out over my dress (I haven't made the final decision yet). So my question is...what do I absolutely need to get done next?? I'm overwhelmed!!!

hi... congrats.
we are getting married the same day. dont be overwhelmed, it will all work out. i would defiantely go for your video photo and dj soon, being those are the big ones. all the little things will fall into place and there is time for all those to get done.

Hi Eireann - Welcome and Congrats!!! Are you a 2005 bride? What hall have you chosen? Don't feel overwhelmed - we are all here to help. It looks like you are in the right direction. - The important thing to do after booking the hall is to book the major vendors - band/dj and photography/videographer and then florist. You have time! If you have specific questions feel free to ask!

Hi there - we are March 6, so a few weeks before. We're basically done with church and reception - our next step was/is photographer, then band and dress. (We feel like we're making good progress on the photog. front, less so in terms of bands and dresses). I have to say that one nice thing about getting married in March is that most vendors are available - I've contacted many, and have only had one vendor so for tell me that they had our date booked. Hope this helps.

Congrats we only have 8 months until our big day. I would book your photographer and concentrate on your dress. I recommend you go to local bridal showcases they usually have ton of venders to choose from. Since you are getting married in March most venders will give you a great deal since it is off season.
