I was wondering how everyone is doing!!!! My dress just came in yesterday...I have my first fitting Feb. 13th, when did or are you going to your first fitting???
I have gotten half of my response cards back, almost all 'Yes' (so I guess the 'B' list is out the window)
What flowers and favors is everyone doing??? I'm having a hard time with the favors, I can't find anything I like...I'm having tulips on the tables and wanted to give tulip bulbs wrapped up nice as the favor, but tulip bulbs need to be planted in the late fall. (I don't have a 'theme' for the wedding) I don't know what to do??!!!

My wedding is march 30th, had my first fitting last saturday. I'm using a seamstress and she wanted me to come in early to get a alook at the dress and what had to be done. Second fitting is Feb. 15th. Just sent out invitations on Tuesday and I think everyone has gotten them by today, so I'm hoping to see responses by today or tomorrow. I'm doing all black magics/black beauties dark red roses. My favors are the 2 piece godivas -heart truffles. I have no theme whatsoever, that's my theme! We're finalizing w/ photographer and ordering rings on Saturday. I still have to get bridal party gifts!!

Things are going pretty well so far, My dress will be in this week and my first fitting is set for Feb 12th too, but I forgot I had a dentist appointment so I am going to move it up. All the days she wanted me there before I was busy.
Going to Las Vegas Feb 6th for my baclorette bash, Only 2 weeks away.
I still have only gotten one No, all the rest are Yes', didnt get any RSVPs yesterday, so I was Bummed.
Still unsure of what flowers for myself, I first wanted all pink with stephs, but now I am torn btw them and all dark red and no stephs. So I need to make that decision.
Favors, I am getting claddagh and celtic cross ornaments, and personalizing myself, I will post pics.
Working on Limo/Party buss Now!
Need to buy attendents gifts: for girls I am getting a celtic pendant necklace with amber stone and a gift certificate for their hair at the salon and a pocket book.
for guys have no Idea??
Ordering our rings this week, just need to go jewerler and get our sizes, ordering celtic wedding bands online, takes 2 weeks, with money back gaurantee.
What else, honeymoon all booked, just owe money on 2nd half (disneyland), cruise all paid for.
Need to book Rehearsal dinner, set date with church though.
Thinks thats it, I will post some pics of favors and bm flowers

- My dress is finally in and my 1st fitting is on 1/28. - I have received responses for about 48 guests. There were only 2 no's - I have my favors. I ordered personalized candles and they are great. They are kind od small, but I like them. - Our rings are ready so now we need to finish paying for them and pick them up next week. - We are also using tulips as our flowers for centerpieces and my bouquet. My bouquet will have white tulips and dark blue iris.
Hi ladies! Starhead- I sent my invites on Tuesday also. I am already checking for RSVPs; I can't wait!! My FH dropped them off at the main PO branch in NYC and they gave him a major run around. Who knew you had to pay for hand canceling? 5 cents for each envelope over 50. It was only like $1.50 altoghether, but it is just the principle!
I ordered my shoes from myglassslipper.com this week. I tried them on at RK first but they are so rude there I just decided to order them online. Plus then I can return them. I never got a swatch of my dress before I ordered them so I am just keeping my fingers crossed that I guessed well.
I am having my makeup trial on Saturday with my mom and MIL. The woman did my aunt for my cousin's wedding. She looked great altough in a few pictures her faced looked a little too white- I don't know how to delicately approach that with the makeup lady without putting her off. I am so bad at standing up for myself in that way.
I need to call for my first dress fitting and hair trial. I am waiting until my headpiece is done for both, which is 2/1. I am still so up in the air as to whether to wear my hair up or down.
I also need to meet with the reverend ASAP to organize the ceremony so I can do the programs. For some reason I just have a block about calling him.
Everything else I plan to finalize in the last few weeks, like the menu and flowers etc... Everytime I write down everything that needs to be done I start to freak out.... Back into my avoidance mode I go! Good luck everyone.

Hey March Brides!
I am sure we are all crazy with the last minute details, but I wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing.
FH and I are planning to book our limos tonight (our last vendor...hopefully). I have various appointments over the next three weeks for fittings, hair trials, planning the ceremony, etc. We have a bunch of little details to work out, but most of the big stuff is done (which is good because we may close on our house and move before the wedding).
I hope the remainder of your planning is going smoothly and in a few days we can say our wedding is next month.

hey March girls, things are going pretty good here.
In the process of ordering celtic wedding bands. Doing limos Hopefully I will have 1st dress fitting on Saturday.
Next Thursday I am going to Vegas for my Bachlorette Party, so it will give me some time to TRY to forget about wedding planning.
need to pick out our readings, future father in law is making programs for chruch, so I need to get on making decisions.

OK, only 60 days left for me. I can't believe it. Its like a dream.
Got a lot of the little stuff done.
Found the wrapping paper for my favors this weekend and the ribbon i ordered was shipped out last week and should be here any day. My mom had her first fitting for her dress and my MOH goes tonight for her fitting. My FMIL found her dress and she just has to pick it up. (She found it at Estelles)
RSVP's keep coming. Only 2 no's so far.
Having our tasting/menu selection on Saturday at Milleridge. I can't wait. Yum Honeymoon is all paid for. I have flowergirl dresses but I'm not that happy with them and when I took my mom to where she got her dress (My daughter's Weddin in Great Neck) they had flowergirl dresses that I feel in love with. The woman at the store told me to bring in my flowergirl dresses and she would add some more tuelle and satin to make the dress look fuller.
I had a hair trial on Saturday but I didn't liek whatshe did with my hair so I am going back next Thursday for another try.
Meeting with the priest next week too so we can go over the ceremonty and settle a rehearsal date.
Still need to get tuxedos, gifts for the bridal party, make the programs, put together the rice packets and bubbles for church, get gifts for the parents, get marriage license, get gift for FH.
Meeting with the band this week to go over song list.
Besides our tasting on Saturday we are going for wedding rings and talking to the photographer about our pictures.

Hey Girls I got one more thing off my List, We ordered our Wedding Rings officially Yesterday, We should get them in 2 weeks, they are being custom made, and I am proud of myself I did alittle bargaining and saved us over $200 dollars. We are getting celtic bands and hopefully next Year on my ONe Year Anniversary I may get a surprise and get the band to match my ering, BUT I didnt want to be selfish and get them both now, NEED all the money we can get, Stressing alittle bit about that.
So one more mark off the list in my head, need to actually sit down and write a LIST!
hope all is well, should be ordering flowergirl dress today too, found a few dresses but pageen.com is really helpful and found a sash that will match BM dresses. Just need to get my Powergirl sized and then thats it.
